Russia's Okskaya PF launches new hatchery with Pas Reform

ZAO Okskaya PF has successfully launched the first stage of its new hatchery expansion in the Ryazan region, putting the company on track for its ambition to become the largest egg producer in Russia.

More than 85% of the high-quality Lohmann, LSL and H&N breed day-old chicks will be sold to partners in Russia, neighboring countries and to European consumers, with the remainder of the chicks being retained for Okskaya’s own farms.

The new hatchery is fully equipped with Smart™ single-stage incubation systems and equipment from Pas Reform, designed and constructed to provide the highest standards of hygiene and bio-security in a facility that will ultimately produce 80 million eggs per year.

Hatchery personnel include highly experienced specialists from the Aleksandrovskaya branch of ZAO Okskaya PF breeder farm, which is the largest producer of parent stock in the region.

The entire project has been fully supported by specialists from Pas Reform’s international project management team.
