Pas Reform invests in new Global Distribution Centre

As a result of rapid expansion over the past two years, leading Dutch hatchery technology company Pas Reform will open a new Distribution Centre in Zeddam, The Netherlands – home of the company's European headquarters.

The new Distribution Centre has been purpose-designed to deliver maximum efficiencies, for an international sales and service network that has more than doubled in the past 24 months.

Pas Reform's shipping and receiving functions will be enhanced. Flexible loading bays and four times the current capacity will ensure that Pas Reform's Warehouse and Shipping operation functions effectively and efficiently in the service of the company's rapidly growing global customer base.

"Pas Reform has delivered significant increases in turnover, creating a critical need for extra distribution space," explains Pas Reform's President, Bart Aangenendt.  "Exporting to more than 60 different countries requires the most sophisticated support and logistics. With this expansion, we're also sending a clear message to the sector that Pas Reform is committed to continuing growth – and to raising standards on every level of product, support and accessibility."

The new distribution centere is the first phase of a larger redevelopment plan, which will also include the building of a brand new 'Inspiration Center'. Here, Pas Reform will demonstrate its highly acclaimed Smart hatchery systems in a model hatchery setting, to include incubators, hatchery automation systems and hatchery climate control systems.

As the first phase of redevelopment, Pas Reform's new Distribution Centre is due for completion by December 2006.
