Addoha’s new facility, featuring advanced single-stage incubation, automation and climate-control systems, is operational since August 2025. The hatchery is equipped with an egg setting line, a fumigation set for egg disinfection, 72 x SmartSetPro™ 6 setters (including AMF™ and ESM™), an egg candling and transfer line, 72 x SmartHatchPro™ hatchers (including SmartWatch™) and 24 SmartStore™ chick storage systems.
It also features a chick take-off line, a chick sexing and vaccination line, a chick counting and boxing line, washing machines and a waste collection and storage system. It is further fitted with heat exchangers, booster sets, egg room coolers, air handling units, air distribution system, ventilation systems, and process water chillers.
Unrivalled monitoring, management, analysis and reporting
All the hatchery’s systems are connected by SmartCenterPro™ software – which enables data gathering from every process in the hatchery, for unrivalled monitoring, management, analysis and reporting.
Addoha Hatchery is part of Addoha Poultry Company (APC), producer of 100% Halal meat products and based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The parent company first entered the poultry business in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province in 1989, becoming Addoha Poultry Company in 2008. In early 2025, Brazil-headquartered BRF, one of the world’s largest food companies, acquired a 26% stake in Addoha to enter Saudi Arabia’s Halal chicken production market.
