With more than 14 years’ experience in the poultry industry, Priyantha brings extensive expertise in broiler breeder and hatchery management. He holds a Master’s degree in Poultry Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
His deep technical understanding of incubation processes and hatchery design, combined with practical field experience, will further enhance Lakmo ability to deliver on-the-ground technical support and service excellence to hatcheries nationwide.
Before joining Lakmo, Priyantha worked for more than 12 years at New Anthoney’s Farms (Pvt) Ltd, where he held the position of Deputy General Manager for Breeder and Hatchery Operations. During this time, he worked closely with hatchery technologies from Royal Pas Reform, including installation, commissioning and incubation management using SmartCenterPro™ hatchery software.
In the role of consultant and trainer, Priyantha has also provided technical services to several leading broiler breeder farms, supporting nearly a quarter of Sri Lanka’s breeder capacity.
