As part of its strategy for continuing growth, Armenia’s Nubarasheni Poultry Farm has announced plans to build a new hatchery with SmartPro™ single-stage incubation technologies from Pas Reform.
In its first phase of development, the company is planning to hatch 4 million eggs per year with its new SmartPro™ systems, which will include six SmartSetPro-2™ setters, each with capacity for 38,400 hatching eggs, and four SmartHatchPro™ hatchers. Alongside their modular design and precision controls for temperature, humidity, O2 and CO2 during incubation, the SmartPro™ setters include Adaptive Metabolic Feedback™ (AMF™) to tailor the incubation environment to the specific metabolic needs of the growing embryos.
With 14 broiler houses and 12 breeder houses, Nubarasheni produces fresh chicken for the domestic market and intends ultimately to treble its hatching capacity to 12 million eggs per year, with further developments to include 12 more buildings from 2018.
“Pas Reform has a good reputation here in Armenia. Their specialists supported us very well during the planning stage of this project,” says Gagik Makaryan, Nubarasheni’s general director, “We were very impressed with their professionalism and expertise.
“Advanced, single-stage incubation technologies will enable us to increase volume and quality, to make a significant contribution to Armenia’s rising demand for fresh chicken.”
Pas Reform’s representative in Armenia is Mr. Mushegh Mkrtchyan. He says: “Nubarasheni is a company strongly focused on quality, efficiency and the adoption of innovative technologies to achieve its business aims.
“We’re excited to be involved in helping Nubarasheni Poultry Farm meet its goals and look forward to building a good, long-standing relationship with a focus on the future.”
