Inversiones Avícolas C.A. invests in SmartPro™ NF technologies for new hatchery expansion in Venezuela

Alimentos KIRI Business Group, through its subsidiary Inversiones Avícolas C.A. (INVERAVICA), continues its steady growth with a major investment in a new broiler hatchery in Maracaibo, Zulia, Venezuela.

The company selected Royal Pas Reform for its proven ability to deliver superior chick quality, a critical factor for KIRI’s vertically integrated broiler operations. Royal Pas Reform’s strong presence in Venezuela, along with its advanced technology, technical expertise, and after-sales service, played a key role in the decision to partner for this new project.

The new project will feature 12 x SmartSetPro™ NF-8 setters (each with a capacity of 100,980 eggs), 6 x SmartHatchPro™ NF-6 hatchers (each with a capacity of 33,660 eggs), and a fully integrated HVAC climate control system. Due to be completed in December 2025, the hatchery will provide a total capacity of 32,000,000 day old chicks a year.

“We’re coming off some very challenging years for the poultry sector in Venezuela,” says Luis Guillermo Bohorquez, Group Director of Alimentos KIRI. “Despite the difficulties, we continue to invest in our country. Our commitment remains to provide our population with the highest-quality animal protein. To achieve this, we know we must have top-of-the-line hatchery solutions, and continuous technical training for our staff - all key elements to our success.”

Elias Rubén Maica Morillo, Royal Pas Reform’s Business Development Manager for Latin America, adds: “We are proud to be ALIMENTOS KIRI’s partner in this important expansion project and confident they will be highly satisfied with the chick quality delivered by our SmartPro™ NF technology.”

Bouke Hamminga, Royal Pas Reform’s Director International Sales & Business Development, comments: “This project marks another important milestone for Royal Pas Reform and for the Venezuelan poultry industry. We are honored to support the continued growth of this thriving market.”
