For use with the automatic candling and transfer system, the automatic paper cutter incorporates a tough, hardened, durable cutting edge and holder for spare paper roll. The unit is placed over the input conveyor for empty hatcher baskets before transferring.
Using paper in the hatcher basket reduces the risk of spread legs syndrome for the chicks and improves the efficiency of basket washing. The hardened, self-sharpening knife ensures a prolonged lifetime while maintaining optimal results.
How it works
- An empty hatcher basket is transported onto a conveyor in the direction of the automatic transfer machine
- The paper is positioned over the basket and cut at the right time to slide over the bottom of the basket
- Egg are transferred onto the paper and continue to the hatcher
